Hi so it has been a while since I first started the Creative Digital Media course in College. This course has taught me so much and there is so much more to learn. It is a very creative and fun course. Year 1 was interesting and became very challenging when Covid entered. There was a lot of late night works and was filled with assignments but I did it and now I am in second year.
I'm looking forward to this module because I like games and always was interesting in some game designs but never decided to take on this task on my own with any help. I feel that this module will answer my question about game design and career in multimedia.
There were some really good tasks that I enjoyed and did very well in like photography which changes your point of view on everyday objects and for me it woke up my eye for photography. Image manipulation was a very fun and entertaining task as it allowed you to create something out of this world and it allowed your imagination to go mad.
This year I would hope to have fun with the assignments and to plan out my ideas sooner because I feel like this was making me be strict on time last year. I hope that this year will give me a better idea of which path of this course I would like to focus on. I'm going to try to ask more questions about a task if I won't feel a 100% sure of what has to be done.
There is so much more about me than just College. Since I am a creative person I also do a lot of creative things such as t-shirt designs, drawing, painting and a lot of DIY's in my free time outside of college. The above allows to continue on with my creativity but gives me a break from the screen and I can work with my hands more. Apart from those I love to get some exercise, I try to go horse riding every week if i only have the chance. It gives me this boost of adrenaline and allows to relax in the company of animals.
On top of that I have pets which provide lots of fun and reduce any stress. They are great companions and I can always count on them to make me smile and feel better. We currently have two female mice "Cookies" and "Cream", one Eurasier dog called "Ziran" and I have a Cockatiel parrot "Swirek". Our house is never boring with them.

OK a few things to say about your blog:
ReplyDelete1. I love the black background because it is so much easier to read and not as harming on the eyes like regular white backgrounds. so brownie points to you for helping out my eyes.
2. I love that you added your pet's photos, mainly Ziran. Very nice tones. They are cute.
3. You say you have a few creative hobbies outside college in your free time... When is this free time exactly? does this "time" exist? haha
I like your blog posts. A lot has gone into them and it is easy to read.

DeleteHi Wiktoria, I really like your blog. The design and layout looks amazing and you can tell you spent a lot of time and effort developing your content. I did not realize you had so many unique and interesting pets. I hope they are keeping well with the fireworks going off and that Halloween doesn’t stress them out too much when we get our break.

Do you have any of your t shirt designs anywhere I would love to see them. Also your pets are so different from most people I know so that's super cool and there all very cute! I say there's always something going on for you!

Thank you, yeh I try to keep my creativity going without using the screen all the time and I do have photos of some t-shirt design and some drawings but I tend to keep it to myself since it's just a hobby of mine.

How did you have spare time to do anything outside college haha I just do college go to work then sleep, But I also have zero time management so that's probably why. ReplyDeleteHehe, thank you, I usually do the majority during summer or when we got holidays but I'm currently working on my time management so I'll be able to have a better balance so hopefully it will work out and good luck to you too.

I'm glad you have an interest in games as I feel that that will be really useful for this module and hopefully one day you might use it in your career if you feel like that's where you're going. Hi Wiktoria! It is very nice to meet you. I am looking forward to this module for the very same reasons I feel making a game will be quiet fun. Photography was also my favorite module last year just because I like working with cameras and taking photos. I love the pictures of your pets they look really cool. Its cool to see other people enjoy bonding with animals like I do...Animals are great companions to humans and should never be taken for granted..
I have a Jenday Conure parrot, he is crazy, but he is a great companion.
I am actually looking to get a baby cockatiel, male preferably because of their ability to mimic music.

I wish i had a sport I liked the way you do with horse riding but I'm too lazy lol. The animal pictures are so cute too! ReplyDeleteHey Wiktoria, I relate to being interested in this module and wanting to see what game design is like. I also would like to see if we get to kind of specialize in a certain area of digital media further on in the course because I think we're all getting a taste of what we prefer, whether its developing or thinking and making stuff creatively. Also, I love your pets, especially Swirek. I want to get a cockatiel and teach them to make Droid noises like R2D2 haha

I was also excited about this module because of it being something different that I have never done before and also I like the idea of picking up new skills.
